Pink Rhododendron.

Embossed 015

Fantastical as a close up photographic shoot of multiple formation of flower heads at their peak of perfection. Exceptionally talented portrayal of these flower heads in pink and violet shades reminiscent of the sweet pea, their petals seem to have burst open to the fullest possible extent from a central gathered point proudly displaying themselves and their escaping stamens. Small elegantly poised leaves peep out framing the flowers from behind.

I am envious of this amazing talent which achieves such a dispersed variety of subtly varying tones which enhances the reality of the whole painting.
